If there was ever any doubt that Laura Vandervoort's role in Supergirl was going to be more than just an episode cameo, put your fears to rest. The actress herself has told Denofgeek.com that her part will be larger than one episode. The actress went on to say:

I look entirely different from when I did play Supergirl because Indigo is — different looking; I don’t want to give anything away. It’s wonderful working with Melissa because she’s a fantastic actress, and we’ve been getting along really well, and to play someone who is opposing Supergirl when I previously played her is kind of epic.

We are excited to see these two women battle it out! While having Helen Slater in the corner of our Girl of Steel, it somehow feels fitting that Vandervoort would stand against her.
