We started with 87 episodes, with your votes counted and tallied, we eliminated 67 of those episodes and now have the top 5 episodes from each season going head to head for the title of "Best Episode of Supergirl So Far!". Take the gloves off this is bare knuckle boxing time! No more season barriers, just the top five going head to head! The rules will remain the same. And how do you keep the much younger actress? Dr Who solved this. The heroine inhaled Kryptonite dust before her planet blew up, it incorporated into her bones, and her Fortress of Solitude keeps regenerating her in the hopes of eliminating all of it. this is a slow process.
There is an interesting thought here. Most of us are happy to imagine the series going on forever, though at some point the show will need to be retitled Supergrandma, the leading actress now collecting her social security while on the job. Realistically speaking, at some point all good things come to an end, and at that point the show will need to be rebooted. Given the popularity of Midvale, rebooting with a much younger lead actress might be an option.
What I appreciate with those in the first five spots and even beyond is how those episodes highlight two things: 1). Kara's story is at the forefront 2). all of those episodes showcase the sister relationship.
Of course, there are numerous factors at play for why fans are voting for those specific ones, but I like to think that when the EPs combine those two factors as the focus of the episode, the likelihood of having a strong, memorable episode is higher. Melissa and Chyler are good separately, but putting them together just transcends the material.
Yes, seems a little weird. Not a big thing, it's just for fun and I love both episodes. But the statistical anomaly does seems fishy.
Are there enough votes left for Falling to make it to 100?.
Not insignificantly Season 1 episodes (274) now have over 100 more votes than Season 3 (172) which is in a close race with Season 4 (165) for 2nd place in the battle of the seasons.

I'm in awe of Chy and Melissa's acting from day 1 to now, their acting chops has grow so much , these two talented actresses deserved the Oscars and Emmys! yes lots of it ! Few of the episodes that included the scenes between Kara and Alex during emotional scenes blew me away out of its park.
As for the episodes I mentioned at top of this post I still never forget that insane fight ends in a epic cliffhanger from Reign episode, I'm not surprised that Legion of superheroes episode is not listed on the best of Supergirl episodes...
Suggestion for future polls - include the s1e1 or 1x1 episode numbers - a lot of communities use those to designate the episodes instead of the names. There were a couple I knew by that and had to count out to find.
Oh well, supported Season 1 and did my part to put Falling in the lead. Awesome performance by Melissa. So many great moments and images: Supergirl with her feet up at the DEO, Kara at Catco, Red K Supergirl flicking peanuts in the bar, the fight with J'onn, and apologies to Alex and Cat. It even had my favorite line (one of them), "Classic Alex, always just in time to ruin all the fun." Remains the gold (or red) standard.
Loved Midvale too. For "the kids." Izabela and Olivia are perfect. It may have my second favorite line, "I hate you." Always up for "s'more" Midvale.
