Greetings Supergirl fans! There's been a lot of SUPER news lately just unfortunately not about OUR Girl of Steel. That said some of us on the forum have been talking about that Super news. If you aren't aware, The DCEU, the name majorly used to identify the movies of DC, has cast their Supergirl. The role went to Sasha Calle and we couldn't be more excited for her and that choice of casting. That said, we want to hear your thoughts on if Supergirl.tv should cover the DCEU for you now that there is a Supergirl there too.
On the other hand, Superman and Lois is going to debut tomorrow. We also were curious if we should cover that show here. Your opinions were yes and no. Fans wanted our media group to cover the show, but keep them separate as to honor both characters separately. Well, it was a BIG job but after the carpal tunnel syndrome I gave myself with writing all that code (just kidding but it was a lot of code) we've launched https://supermanandloistv.com. We wanted to get the .tv for consistency but someone else owns it.
Anyway, if you are interested in that show and want to follow along go ahead and make an account over there! In the same vein as Supergirl.tv we wanted to provide you coverage of the Kryptonian and his family advertisement free! Many of the pages have yet to be published, we are working as fast as we can on that, but the comments and forum have been set up so we can all gather as fans and share our thoughts! Yes, me too! And for those who enjoy my Supergirl fan fiction stories, I intend continue writing them (as time permits), and posting them in the Fourm here. They will continue to feature the "Supergirl Team" characters from the TV show). In the future, my version of Kara Zor-El will likely be influenced by the Sasha Calle portrayal of her, also.
a supergirl movie is still a couple of years away so it won't interfere with the final season of the television series.
And I wouldn't want to see this website do nothing after the show ends.

It should be noted this site has more traffic than both the DCTV and Batwoman sites, a testament to SG fans.
Superman and Lois I feel should remain separate from the SuperGirl information location. I for one am not interested in Superman and Lois and I would hate to come to the SuperGirl site and needlessly have to read about something that doesn't interest me.
As for coverage of the new SuperGirl - this is Melissa's last SuperGirl's season - it would be nice if (Melissa) was fully covered at this location and cover the new SuperGirl somewhere else (on a different page or section). I think the new SuperGirl is great in that it will continue SuperGirl 's story and I think the actress is good. I have nothing against the movie except again I am not interested in the new SuperGirl. I prefer to keep Melissa as my image of the perfect SuperGirl. If the movie and its star is covered here it will happen that she will become more covered than the current TV show and Melissa.
I think it’s appropriate for this site to cover news related to the character outside the TV show. I believe the news feed had a post when there were credible rumors of a Supergirl movie so there’s a precedent for coverage of the character in the movies. Keep things Supergirl related, don’t cover “The Batman” or even the third Wonder Woman movie if Supergirl isn’t in it. If a new Supergirl comic series is ever launched it would be nice to have a news feed post announcing that. Don’t cover the comics, that’s a lot of work and out of the scope of anything done before, just let us know.
Superman & Lois deserve and have their own site, and speaking for myself, I prefer to have the information regarding Supergirl posted prominently here and other character sites in their respective ones.
I wish the S & L show and site(s) all the best; but their feats, fortunes and adventures are best left elsewhere.
