Both Christmas and New Year's have passed us by and all the gifts have been opened. As Supergirl fans, we even got the gift of an early season renewal! Well, it looks like The CW has one more gift to share with us before we get back into the second season. Released today is the season 2 second-half trailer and some very familiar faces appeared as well as some new ones! Livewire's return, The Dominators, and more Guardian action can all be seen in this epic trailer! Check it out below:

Everyone going on about Livewire not learning her lesson and such. Lets be honest and review the evidence. What has she learned? First encounter Supergirl got lucky and just happened to be over a water pipe and used Kats distraction to pull it on LIvewire, not really a infinitive win after shed been tossed around, blasted, wrapped up in an electro lasso and was in the process of being cooked. Second encounter she didn't fair too well either, didn't win it on her own after getting knocked around pretty good. If I were Livewire I'd feel pretty confident. SHes done well against SUpergirl in the past.

That has got to be a trailer for the second half of season 2. They really can't have all that action in just one episode... can they??

It all looks good... Nice to have certain credible villains recurring, e.g. Livewire. No, we don't need Silver Banshee. I am hoping that the show gets the Guardian storyline right and not as just a vehicle to keep Jimmy relevant. He looks good here though.

They are shooting ep 14-15 now so anyone that thinks this is for those episodes also need to think for a second lol

Livewire is awesome she should be able to come back recurring forever and likewise with Parasite and Dominators. Villains you just dont discard off easily

The action looks fantastic, not a big Livewire fan, but maybe they have raised the bar with her a little bit on the CW, hope so. More Guardian? ok... Good grief the action looks fantastic. And, am I mistaken, is Kara fighting on the slave planet? If so....go girl, I always wanted to see her fight without her powers, because she is trained now. Hope that is the case....looks cool. Can't wait!

This trailer is awesome. At first the guardian use to bother me - but now I realize that supergirl needs people to help her in the protection of the city. She now has Mon-El, the Guardian and she has always had the help of her sister Alex, J'onn J'onzz and the members of the DEO. It looks like its going to be a great season and I'm looking forward to the ride.

what impress me about this trailer especially about live wire is that she seem's to have master her power's more and how she use's them against Super Girl with little bit more thought.

That character and Brit Morgan seem's to have much more freedom to push the evelope with the character more then they were able to do on CBS.
