Today we are looking ahead to episode 515 "Reality Bytes". We know this will be a big episode for Nicole Maines because it will feature a heavy story for Nia to overcome as well as Melissa needed a lighter load to prep and do location scouting for her directorial debut (the episode following this). From what we can see via the newest gallery images is Nia will be very busy as both Dreamer and herself. Melissa doesn't appear in her suit via the images but that doesn't mean Supergirl won't make an appearance, check out the images below:

Melissa looks absolutely radiant... it must be the baby glow. I assume the picture of her and Alex is Alex showing off her new Martian weapon. Is that a picture of the perpetrator with Nia's roommate? If so, not what I expected... I am looking forward to this... Although I prefer SG to be focused on SG, I am good with it being SG lite because Melissa was shadowing the director for her directorial debut. I really like Nia/Dreamer. Same goes for next week's Alex in Wonderland. I think we will see Alex face her insecurities about no longer having the DEO behind her.

My favorite pictures would be 12-14 because they contain Alex and Kara and that is always a winning combination. Pictures 8, 10 and 11 - I like because they show the caring and mentoring side of Kara. The remaining pictures show that this should be an interesting episode with a story to tell - however, I agree that this story has been told a number of times and I am hoping that some viewers do not use it as an excuse to leave the show but instead view it for what it is - a story which is stressing the importance of diversity.

I'd be more hopeful if the synopsis didn't come off as one of the old subtle-as-a-brick-through-a-window ABC After School Specials.

Eager to be proven wrong for this, but I think they have a rather dismal track record when addressing these ideas.

I'm sure there will be enough to enjoy, in any case. :-)

Picture 14 : a glowing Melissa. :-)

Picture 10 : Kara's wisdom. I'm pretty sure Kara is trying to tell Nia to hold off and not go all vigilante on the culprit.

We actually see many pictures of Kara, so even though the episode is about Dreamer, I'm actually hopeful for Sunday's episode. Plus, there will be some Alex and Kara.

I do appreciate the Hypeable review. That said, I am more interested in the Alex Jonn tech matter than the wokeness of the "Transphobia" angle which is a callback to season 4, which in my opinion was the worst season of the 5 that SG has been on the air.

I will judge this as a Dreamer episode as opposed to a Supergirl episode. I really like Maines as Dreamer. I am still not happy with that whole Amy Sapphire episode but I am looking at this one from a different perspective.
