James has made the decision to play full-on double agent and judging by the trailer, it could cost him more than he is prepared to pay. The Children of Liberty are looking to set their sights on Supergirl. Every time Ben Lockwood thinks he has a victory, he ends up hearing how Supergirl saved the day. He needs to get rid of her once and for all because her hope, help, and compassion for all is what stands in his way. The trailer ends with the implied destruction of a symbol of hope and we mean that in all ways! Check it out below:

According to "The Science of Superman" by Mark Wolverton a Krpytonian's "skin would develop a body-wide layer of 'callus' -- and if dense enough, this could also serve as a physical shield against other dangers, like pesky bullets, knives, and explosions." If by chance there was penetration, according to Wolverton it wouldn't go too far. As for whether under a yellow sun injuries are fixed almost immediately, Wolverton wrote that yes, a Kryptonian's body has near instantaneous regeneration and healing that takes only milliseconds where it would take us much longer or never.
Remember the villain named Facet in Sterling Gates' "Adventures of Supergirl' comics series? At the end, her diamond-hard body was shattered by bullets made of a superhard metal (something like Nth metal). So it makes sense that it could penetrate Kryptonian's skin, too.
I definitely think they totally committed to just filming the crossover over about 3 to 4 weeks and wouldn't have been filming additional episodes of the individual shows.
I don't believe they film on weekends (just a Monday to Friday thing). As for Melissa's movements around the time of Episode 7 and 8 filming, from memory and doing some quick checks it went something like this - Mon Sep 24 and Tue Sep 25 in Paris, Thur Sep 27 and Fri Sep 28 in Vancouver (where she was seen filming the scenes on the pier as seen in the trailer). Mon Oct 1 in L.A. for T of E reading, Tue Oct 2 presumably travel back to Vancouver and then on Wed Oct 3 started filming her Episode 8 scenes into the next week when crossover filming commenced. So her screen-time may be reduced (prob more in E7) but we'll just wait and see.
Besides being a romantic getaway/early Birthday celebration Melissa may have had an obligation to attend the Dior show in Paris. It's not uncommon for an actress to have a symbiotic sometimes even contractual relationship with a particular designer. Melissa does seem to wear Dior a lot in photoshoots she does for various magazines and I know she wore a Dior dress to the Tony Awards.
As for the Terms of Endearment reading I think that would've had minimal impact on Melissa's availability. It's my understanding that filming is typically not scheduled on weekends, although Friday night shoots do run into Saturday mornings sometimes. Provided there was no Friday night shoot scheduled Melissa and Chris could've easily flown to LA Saturday morning/afternoon, it's a 3.5 hour flight, and done the show Saturday night. They could've returned to Vancouver on Sunday allowing Melissa time to rest up before work on Monday. It's true that she would've spent some time on the project but pro that she is I'd bet Melissa was able handle both without asking for reduced screen time.
Quote: My first guess is that it will be James. He's basically like an undercover cop now and I think he will find out that Kara is in the place that is going to be blown up and will either get to her himself or let the DEO and/or J'onn know where she is.
Quote: It's kind of like bringing a knife to a gunfight, right?
I don't see Manchester betraying Supergirl, especially with this group. He would clearly be aligned with Supergirl in this matter.
Having Red Daughter save her, I don't see that either, how would she even know Supergirl was in trouble? Much less where to find her.
It seems the DEO tracks her at all times, so you would think they would know where she is being held. I wonder what weapons Ben Lockwood may have gotten from the Graves siblings that he can use against Supergirl? We already saw how effective the Graves got Supergirl out of their way in episode 1, Lex may have left them some more advanced weapons that could knock her out, and/or weaken her greatly.
Can't wait to see the episode!!
