Rather the Fallen Angel Synopsis

Today we are getting our first details on episode seven this season titled "Rather the Fallen Angel". In it, we can determine that James is going to be getting even deeper into his quest to figure out who the Children of Liberty are and how they are being run. Supergirl will get a lead on where Agent Liberty is and perhaps most interestingly, Lena begins trials. That's all it says, Lena begins trials. Now we know she still has a piece of the powersource that Argo is using. We take this to mean she is beginning trials or tests on the substance. Read the full synopsis below:

CHAD LOWE DIRECTS— James (Mehcad Brooks) falls in deeper with the Children of Liberty in his efforts to meet Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer). Meanwhile, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Manchester Black (guest star David Ajala) follow a lead on Agent Liberty’s location, but things take a dark turn. Lena (Katie McGrath) kicks off her first set of trials. Chad Lowe directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & Katie Rose Rogers (#407).

It is intentionally vague so not to give away too much, but we think she is experimenting with the harunel (not sure how to spell it)
Is there something that you're not sharing with us to make you think this :-* ? Is it because they stated that she began her "first set of trials"? If so, didn't she already begin the trials on the Harun-El last season? If it is the Harun-El, I have to wonder why she is doing so - can't be for anything good, I would think.

Interested to find out what the "dark turn" is for Supergirl and Manchester Black.

Yeah, there is something I am not telling you ... keeping a few spoilers close to the chest! Wink*

It should prove to an interesting episode. Lena's trials could be anything - benign, sinister or legal. Let's wait and see what goes down, shall we? 8)

I prefer keeping Lena as the grey corporate CEO. This can be very different than the personal Lena. I certainly don’t want to see her descend into evil, as that would ruin one of the more fascinating characters on the show and so predictable.

Interesting that Manchester is working with Supergirl, I'd expected him to be teamed with J'onn. And I hope the writers don't give in to stereotype and make Lena a villain, she's much more interesting as a gray character.

Oof. You know if they do any more edgy foreshadowing for Lena, it would become bad writing to NOT have her become a villain

Yeah they really need to make her slowly descent into darkness now

I see Chad Lowe (aka Thomas Coville) is directing again.
