New Crossover Rumors Abound

You, the fans, are a smart bunch when it comes to Supergirl. We read everyone of your comments and you aren't swayed by the negativity of other sites. You've even caught on how other "for profit" sites will cover or even make up rumors to get clicks which leads to revenue. As the web's number 1 source for Supergirl news and the only non-profit site, we try and cut through all that to bring you the facts that matter. So with that said a new crop of rumors have appeared stemming from Greg Berlanti's comments stating a crossover is possible. This is not new, as there has always been the possibility for a crossover. Just like Ali Adler said, "in success, anything is possible". What is new, however, is that a due date to make this happen has appeared. According to Entertainment Weekly, Greg Berlanti says:

I would love it, a lot of things would have to go right and people would have to say ‘Yes.’ It would have to figured out very soon. It would all have to be figured out in the next month or so. As it remains right now we’ve talked internally about how cool it would be, but we haven’t had official conversations. [The CW chief Mark Pedowitz] is supportive.

So essentially, nothing has changed but we've caught up to what scheduling requires. If a crossover were to happen it's got to get the greenlight in the next month or so.

Do you want a crossover? We can say as the staff that as the season has progressed, we've felt less and less like a crossover is needed. Its not a bad idea but it Supergirl is doing such great things on its own there doesn't feel like it needs that support. That said we welcome it if it can happen.
