Supergirl's fourth season is off to a strong start. Leading off on Sundays puts the show in a new key position for The CW. After all the news from Comic Con has settled, we are now learning two new episode titles for Season 4. First up is episode 2 titled, "Fallout" and second is episode 4 titled, "Ahimsa". Fans might remember that we already have episode 3's title, "Man of Steel" and the premiere's title "The American Alien". Not much can be pulled from these titles but that doesn't stop us from speculating. Take the following as rumor only as we can not confirm this but ... we are thinking that "Fallout" might have something to do with President Marsdin revealing herself to be an alien in episode one. The subsquent episode "Fallout" would address this as well as any issues from James' unmasking.

Certainly - but in fact there was a Silver Age Superman comic book that featured an "imaginary story" in which Superman was elected President. But at the end of the story, Jimmy Olsen pointed out that this story couldn't really happen, because Superman was born on Krypton, not in the US. And then there was also a Golden Age Wonder Woman story that was set a thousand years in the future, in which Diana Prince is elected President. But I'm not sure if the story mentioned that Diana was born on Paradise Island, and therefore would not really be eligible to be elected President.

In a similar vein, there was also a Silver Age Superman story in which Mr. Mxyzptlk tried to turn the tables on Superman by making him disappear when he said his name backward. So Superman actually did say "Namrepus" ("Superman" backwards), and Mxyzptlk was shocked that for once his "5th dimensional magic" did not seem to work. But what Mxyzptlk didn't know, of course, is that Superman's real Kryptonian name is Kal-El. After Mxyzptlk had departed, Superman said "Le-Lak" ("Kal-El" backwards), and did in fact disappear from the 5th dimension, and reappear on Earth.
Speaking of Mxyzptlk, I always liked the light-hearted Action Comics stories in which he played a major role. I really hope he returns to play his games with Kara again at least once in Season 4!
Here's what I'm talking about: https://flic.kr/p/C4BYyq
LOL Kelly I was thinking the title had something to do with how James has always felt he was in the Man of Steel's shadow and he wants to step up and be his own hero... but Guardian is almost literally a "man of steel" ha
If they use that timeless moniker for Guardian, there will be an uprising of comic book fans that will rival the shippers....lol
The Constitution is a bit more complicated than is sometimes remembered. "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; "
If Marsden like Martians is a bit more long lived than normal humans, she might be eligible under the second clause, namely she was a US citizen on June 21, 1788, when New Hampshire ratified the new Constitution, thus making it valid. You may imagine her being questioned by Congress during the hypothetical impeachment process
"So, President Marsden, you noted having been an advisor to several prior Presidents. Who were they?" (the Senator speaking is one of her supporters, who knows her answer in advance.)
"Senator, those would be George Washington, Samuel Adams, and Thomas Jefferson. And I just happen to have with me letters from each of them, demonstrably authentic, thanking for me for my services to the Republic. There is also the well-known painting of Washington with several of his aids, and a young lady standing to the side, the young lady being recognizably me."
"So you have been an American citizen since,,,?
"July 4, 1776, making me eligible to serve in this office."
"Mister chairman, is there any need to continue this farce?"
I'm pretty sure that you must be born on earth to become President of the United States, however some here would argue that our current occupant of the white house is from another world.
Your reasoning makes a whole lot of sense and this could be the building blocks for
David's new and different character on the show. We probably won't see much of him this season. Another man axed from the show.
