Its official!  Supergirl is going to be played by Melissa Benoist!  TV Guide's facebook is making the announcement official, here.  We have separate confirmation from Entertainment Weekly here! In fact its blowing up all over twitter too!  Melissa Benoist is officially the Girl of Steel!  AHHHHH we are so excited, its like the superbowl over here! As twitter continues to explode, we've managed to grab some of the photos of the announcement at the Supergirl offices!

WHOA! HUGE NEWS!  What do you guys think? Let us know below! We will continue our fancasting challenge but no matter the victor, Melissa Benoist is our Maid of Might!
