You know, TV shows are made to have conflict and resolution. Much of the time, keeping the anticipation of an outcome gives the audience a lot of excitement. Tonight's episode (Mr. and Mrs. Mxyzptlk) had more happy moments filled with resolutions which made us smile and feel relaxed. This next episode though ... BAM! Here comes conflict! Mon-El, and it seems Kara to some extent, start to question Jeremiah's return and in doing so drive Alex to say the most hurtful thing we think she could possibly say to Kara! You'll need to see it for yourself below:

Kelly, or else you can say Supergirl is getting Guggenheimed!
That should have been "We gotchu back, jack" haha.... see what I did there....
ok, nevermind.
It appears to me that more credit and attention is deserved by the Supergirl stunt actresses, without whom the show would be far less impressive (or far more demanding on the lead actress).
We gotchu, jack Always happy to help a fellow fan.
Now I really can't wait for this episode.
Same. I side-eyed the reconciliation between Kara and Alex in ep 2 because it felt to me like they just papered over some big issues. It felt so unsatisfying because it amounted to Kara apologizing to Alex and that was it. I remember thinking “Uh.....that’s it? Shouldn’t there be some talk about those cuts Alex left on Kara back there and Kara just took it? No? Just me? Ummm....okay?”
IMO, with "Jeremiah" back and the circumstances of his return being called into question, this seems like the perfect time for all that to come back up and be genuinely addressed. But with that said, I’m not holding my breath that it will happen. Sometimes the things that I wish the show would really delve into (the sore spots in Kara and Alex’s relationship, for example) aren’t always what the show/producers/writers care to explore. And that’s fine. It happens. (And also, I try hard not to get attached to my own pet theories that rely too much on promos because promos are literally several episode moments taken out of context and patched together to maximize the drama in a 30 second ad. Never trust the Promo Monkeys! )
