I saw this photo in an education publication today, and thought the "teacher" looked quite a lot like Kara Danvers. Then I thought - "Hey, why not?" She seems right in her element with the children there! After all, in the comics, she was a guidance counselor at the New Athens Experimental School for a while in the 70s. Maybe Kara could take a leave of absence from CatCo. for a while, and try her hand at teaching. I think she'd be a natural!
I've seen this idea used in fanfic, with Kara as a favorite teacher of Carter Grant (Cat's younger son).

If she ever gets a sidekick (maybe Ruby next season) she could teach someone the ways of being a hero sometime in the future
