We're probably hearing the same rumors you are this morning. Several sources are claiming that the events in Flash's "Flashpoint" will merge the Supergirl universe with the Flarrow. This makes sense to us but it also leaves a lot of questions! The rumor, originating from BleedingCool.com, goes as such:
As of the upcoming Flashpoint crossover storyline, Supergirl will now be a part of the main DC TV universe. Only Barry Allen will know that they were once separate… any remaining continuity issues will be hand-waved as 'a time traveler did it.
The number one issue that comes to our minds as Arrow watchers, is the whole season 2 arc of Arrow. Slade Wilson and his super soldiers taking over Star city would not have been a big deal at all with Superman or Supergirl in that universe. The Kryptonians must be stronger than Slade by a factor of 100 at least.
Regardless we are all in agreement here that Supergirl needs to be in the Flarrow universe for the ease of future crossovers but we are very interested in the details of how this will happen. Also of note, we aren't saying BleedingCool.com isn't correct here, but they were the source of the Batwoman and Oracle joining Supergirl cast rumors which we have not heard anything further on. Take all this with a grain of salt as we will file this in our RUMORS section.
