Quoting Stewart Tick:
Kevin Smith really nailed the style and attitude of the original Supergirl of the 60s in the fight scene in that last sneak peek!

Also, I didn't know the Supergirl writers knew old school wrestling. To stop that alien's eye laser, Kara did a variation of the Iron Claw...made famous by the Von Erich wrestling family, way back in the day.

Well even Supergirl knows everything tastes better with Bacon. On a serious note, I think the writers blew a great opportunity to make this episode fantastic instead of just good. You have someone putting a bounty on Supergirls head and no one thought hey let's bring in LoBo. I mean fans have been wanting to see Lobo forever.Oh well maybe next season.

Mon-El has figured out that the way to Kara's heart is through her stomach and to NEVER get between Kara and food. Nice that he can cook and doing laundry too, that is romantic.

Gotta love how Melissa says BACON! :D

And "Hey that's me". LOL

That is one very tough alien.

This video reminds me the kind of Kara in the pilot episode.

On number 2...well Maggie was no fan of Valentine's Day and Alex is no fan of Yoga. Can't say I blame them both.

Maggie meeting the ex for dinner...AWKWARD.

And as for number 1...if you love Kara's food freaks outs like I do...this is a pleaser. And yes boys, NOBODY BETTER GET BETWEEN KARA AND HER BACON. The writers must've seen that Beggin Strips commercial a few too many times for that freak out, which is just as fun as the ice cream one. You know there was a silly novelty song in 1976 called Junk Food Junkie. (good Lord have pity on me!) That would serve as one of Kara's theme songs! :D

And that breakfast, Mon-El, proves guys can cook. I mean some of the world's greatest chefs are men...Jacques Pepin, Guy Fieri, Mario Battali, Todd English. Given Kara's metabolism that's just enough, including the oatmeal.

For Kevin Smith, this looks like another high energy fest.
