"I've seen your house, now let me show you mine". At least that is the vibe we are getting seeing Teri Hatcher's Rhea inside the Fortress of Solitude with Mon-El and Kara. We also are getting our first official look at Maggie's ex-girlfriend and Alex's interaction with her. Further more, it looks like the CW likes to make sure we know which episodes Kevin Smith directs because he's in a few of the images as well. Not that we are complaining, we love his work and he was amazing at Paleyfest. Check out the images below:

Rip, stabbed in the leg?
Or just positioning
Also in the second to the last picture doesn't it look like Kara is slumping a little?
I've certainly enjoyed them Stewart, without you here I probably wouldn't have given much thought to reading the Silver Age Supergirl stories but am totally interested in them now from your postings.
Now all we need is some Distant Sun Sneak Peaks, it's been a while since any Sneak Peaks for episodes were released on a Friday or Saturday, it always seems to be Sunday or Monday.

As a side note, I was inspired to watch "Funny Face," after the "Star Crossed" episode. Kara was right. Movie was lots of fun and wow, Audrey Hepburn was so adorable.
Are you kidding...I eat that stuff up. We have a thread over at SHH in the Supergirl forum where we did a Comic Cover Count Down for the first season. LOVED IT!
Well, sure - I'm not saying that the effects of kryptonite have to be the same as they were in the original Silver Age comics. (I realize that they won't necessarily be so.) I'm just pointing out that it's different - different from what I was used to from the comics I read as a kid.
But at any rate, I hope you've enjoyed getting a chance to see original covers and clips from my collection of vintage DC comics (which I have now digitized).
Think of it as pop-culture history! :)
The show runners from the very beginning made it clear that this would be a totally different universe from the comics, that they were forging their own. Of course you would bring in the mainstays of the comics like Kryptonite, etc...but I don't think we can gauge anything with this series by the comics. I think they have their own map that they are following, only the towns have the same name. ;)
