Well just as soon as we all rallied around (or ran from) the news that Claire Holt was going to be our new Supergirl, a new report from Collider.com claims Holt was just in the running and might be out for good.
In a piece regarding what happens to Holt’s character in the latest episode of The Originals, THR claims that she is 'not expected to get the part.' No, it doesn’t mean she’s definitely out, but it’s not looking good. But at least there are tons of other options out there.
I'll admit news about this show seems generally a ping pong match between he said and she said rumors, however, we at Supergirl.tv want to make sure we get you all the news about the new CBS show (which we are sure is going to be our favorite tv show of all time). As for Claire, we are disappointed that it looks like she may not be Supergirl, but like the article said, the pool of actresses is rich and we are excited to see who claims the skirt and cape.
