Call to Action Gallery

Today we have new images for episode six of this season titled, "Call to Action". With the loss of the new Parasite, Agent Liberty is looking to add to his roster. For the first time, we are seeing masked gang members, likely the Children of Liberty, actively attacking aliens in the the streets! That's not all. Alex and Brainy look like they are working on a big issue at the DEO and James and Lena share a few moments, one that looks to leave James in a thoughtful space. Finally, it looks like Manchester Black will have a run in with Supergirl. Check out the images below:

One new character or actor that impressed me is Manchester Black. I am interested to see how he plays out. More action and entertainment please, instead of presenting our real world issues..

I am looking forward to seeing this episode to see if SuperGirl and Kara the reporter are in it more than they have been. I do realize that the pictures try to give a representation of everything that is happening in the episode. However, I also notice that SuperGirl's pictures come last and there just seems to me to be too much emphasis on the other characters. I too like Manchester Black but if he starts to have more screen time then Melissa my like for him will disappear too. One thing I did do tonight was go back and look at the photo galleries of season one and definitely the appearance of SuperGirl / Kara is way more prominent in those galleries then she is in them now. Don't take my word for it, go back and look at her prominence in the gallery one photos. So I think so far the galleries have been very predictive of how much we will see SuperGirl/Kara in the episodes. I hope I am proven wrong this week.

I know some have taken a disliking to the number of additional characters being announced but I enjoy the world building aspect of it. Now that they have Manchester Black, I'd be interested if the Writers ever do some version of Supergirl vs the Elite. Yes, that would involve further characters but most of the time characters are only used for short story arcs or even one episode and often to bolster a major characters back story so they won't be seen as 2 dimensional.

e.g. Adam Grant, Brian (I'd like to see more of his antics), M'gann, Lar Hand, Sam's Mother, Maggie's Father, the Graves Siblings etc.

Yes! I can't wait for Supergirl to meet Manchester. This will surely be awkward, funny and entertaining.

I want to let everyone know, these are promotional photos that are meant to cover a wide range of what the episode has in it. Their goal is to get as many characters as possible so publications can run a variety of articles if they choose. Whether Supergirl is in a photo or not is not a direct relation to how much screen time she gets.
If you look back at the Parasite Lost gallery, there wasn't a single photo of Alex but, she was very prominent in the episode. So, I wouldn't judge anything by the photos.

At least there are 3 images of Supergirl in these pics, but I hope she is in this episode a lot more than the images represent! The other characters are shown much more than Supergirl and even Kara. There are 14 images of other characters, 1 with Kara, and 3 with Supergirl.

Agreed. I'm glad that Supergirl at least even made it into this week's promo shots. But this photo spread is incredibly indicative of the current problem with the show.

Hope Manchester makes some of those "children" hurt badly!
