Surprise! There's a third round in our quest to find the best episode of Supergirl so far! While in round one, we restricted voting between seasons, now we are going to have an all-out free-for-all! We want to know, if the boundaries between seasons were removed, would the results for top 5 episodes be the same? To further add to the difficulty of this round, we are taking away two of your votes! You will only be able to vote for THREE EPISODES PER USER! We didn't want to make it a one vote and done because that seems a bit too difficult. Speaking for myself, there are a few episodes I love equally. Be sure to use your three votes wisely!
The question remains, will Falling continue to be our users absolute favorite episode? Will the other four continue to be in the top 5 or will the removal of seasonal boundaries push a few episodes aside? We will keep the poll running for one week and this time next week on Supergirl Sunday, we will have an absolute answer!

It WAS my first vote. Just sayin. Still love the poll. It's helped me narrow down which episodes I should rewatch--which I've been doing since summer vacation started... every night... before bed....because I can... Cuz I'm a teacher... and I earned a break... from teenagers... AND their parents...yay me.

I picked those three because the pilot will always be one of my favorites. The show that introduced us to Melissa as Supergirl. What an amazing choice for the title role, she is everything the could have hoped for and much, much more. The movie in my opinion will be a let down, I almost feel bad for the actress that will try to compare to her. Honestly, will probably watch anyway, but can't imagine anyone playing this role better.
Nevertheless She Persisted to me was the best finale so far. So much action, and a great fight where the girl of steel proved herself under some dire circumstances. Very well done, I thought.
Reign has got to be number one for me, if nothing else for the shock value. I was pretty sure with all of the build up to Reign that Supergirl was going to take it on the chin in their first battle. Wow, though, who could have been prepared for that. The entire fight sequence she fought well, which I liked, but when Reign turned the battle in her favor, it was shocking how soundly she defeated Supergirl. Obviously we all knew she would be ok, and back for a rematch. The first fight was so intense, and so shocking. So well done and well acted, it was just amazing.

Very nice selection. I watched Nevertheless She Persisted the other night and that episode is worthy of the top 3. I was all in with Kara and Monty and that season's finale is one of the best. You forget how good these past episodes are until you refresh them.

It's not like we're overwhelmed with keeping up with news items or ongoing discussions. It keeps us occupied during this bit of a stretch we have before the next season begins. Thanks for doing this
I was just confused because it didnt seem like we let the other poll follow through to its completion. I would have liked to have seen the top 5 go against each other...but hey I will vote in whatever, it's just silly fun in the end.
Confirmed! Season 2 is my favorite out of the 4.
I didn't know who Melissa Benoist was until I watched Supergirl. I became an instant fan. So season one was like Christmas with each episode being a present to unwrap and enjoy. Most of the episodes from season 1 through 3 were either good, very good or great.
Fair viewpoint, I would just like to see if maybe people's favourite episodes are from a particular season but they may enjoy a different season overall. Muckle9999 might be like that, he had 2 Season 1 episodes in his Top 3 but from reading his comments in the past where he posts about his enjoyment of Mon-El (a.k.a. Monty) he might vote in a season only poll for Season 2 as his favourite. Perhaps Muckle could confirm this.
While I'm not much interested in this poll anymore (due to it generating the same results as previously) I am interested in reading what people's Top 3 episodes are so keep those comments coming.
Any poll or discussion about the best anything has the potential to be divisive. Much of that rests on the spirit with which one views the results.
To me, these polls are a fun exercise, nothing more. I have my own rankings. With all respect to the collective verdict, it won't invalidate them--nor should it invalidate anyone else's.
