Ace Reporter Trailer

Could this be the classic hero trap? Suspect that someone is a superhero and get them into a situation where you know that if they aren't a superhero they will die and if they don't, BAM you've got proof! Well if this trailer for episode 218 "Ace Reporter" is any indication, that is exactly what is in store for Kara Danvers! The explosion ruined her shirt exposing the iconic S underneath! But in this case, the visuals are way better than our words, see for yourself below:

Talking about her Super-hearing, has she even used it during Season 2?. I'm struggling to remember a time, hopefully someone with a better memory than me can help. Her use of it at Catco during Season 1 was always fun.

Hopefully Kara is back at Catco. It added an extra dimension to Kara's life interacting with people and using her powers in everyday situations such as when she overheard the corporate plotters against Cat. There's more to being a supergirl than fighting a supervillain and Catco was another aspect of it.

Yes, but you would expect the raincoat to be shredded before her Supergirl uniform, simply because it was closer to the blast (being the top layer of her clothing). Remember that in this show she is vulnerable to explosions and very high temperatures, at least to some extent. One would expect that to extend to the clothes she is wearing as well.


Someone is going to be seriously disappointed that the atomic antitank rocket did not kill the annoying reporter. We may imagine a future scene in which Kara is seated at a table, back to camera, poring through files, and suddenly the barrel of a machine gun is seen. There are then the sparkly bits as the bullets bounce off of her hair without disturbing its tresses.

If it is true and someeone has indeed set a trap to find out if Kara is SuperGirl it will make for even more exciting future episodes. Good to see other characters getting into the picture more for SuperGirl.
