A Daxamite Invasion in Episode 21?

We've said it many times before, one of the most amazing unforeseen benefits of moving the show to Vancouver Canada is all the behind the scenes and on location images we are getting! Thanks to our user, Romulus, for pointing us to these photos and to HollywoodNorth.buzz for posting a couple of the images, we've got a great gallery from filming episode 21 on location! We have shared our thoughts that Supergirl's final episodes were building to a true comic invasion. This would include the Durlans, the Daxamites, and the Dominators. We can't say we see the Durlans or the Dominators, but there are plenty of royal Daxamite soldiers in the street! Our favorite photo, that hardcore shot of Maggie with the shotgun! GIRL POWER!

What do you think of these photos? Could Maggie look any more awesome? Let us know in the comments below and in the forum! Keep us advertisement free as well and visit the support page! Thank you!

I think that this invasion is going to be the turning point in Supergirl's and Lenas relationship, I believe Lena will turn on Supergirl, perhaps Lillian dies during the Daximites invasion and Lena blames Supergirl. This could lead to Lena being the big villain in season 3.

Lena doesn't even like her mom. What makes you think she would turn evil over that? Besides, having Lena be evil would undermine the theme of this whole season: "You are better than where you came from". Having an evil Luthor would be boring, cliche and predictable. Besides, Katie said that Lena is trying really hard to distance herself from all that.

Anyone else think that Rhea and Lillian will team up? "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

Would that not only serve to vindicate xenophobic Cadmus in a "told you so" fashion. How would the writers come back from what is bound to be a very controversial move amount us fans.

Quoting Argo:
I seem to recall reading somewhere that CADMUS and the DEO might enter into an alliance of convenience to fight the invasion. If so, then the CADMUS arc is not ignored. However, I agree they need to really focus next season's story cycle.

its more in Lillian's interests to ally herself with D3 (Daxam, Dominators, Durians), as its her best shot to snuff Supergirl and get all those aliens she loathes shipped off planet as Daxamite slave labor....I'm fine with any configuration though as long as Kara doesn't get Jobbed Out...saved by Sanvers etc. Its her show after all we share in her triumphs over evil thats why we watch.
I suspect since the show already has a third season renewal in it's cape pouch, that the finale will be an authentic cliffhanger of some type.

What are you talking about? It wasn't destroyed in that episode, any more than it was destroyed after "Darkest Places" or "Luthors"...

Actually it was when Alex took care of them by herself.

As for Lena turning on Supergirl during the Daxamite invasion, I don't see that happening as it's going to be in the shadow of the Superman/ Lex Luthor rivalry.

My point was, Alex didn't defeat them (which was the episode I was talking about when I said "that episode", as has been shown twice before (the two episodes I listed), they are down but not out by any means.
