We took an hour off of SDCC coverage to go to the gym and BAM Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Laura Vandervoort is in talks to possibly get a cameo in CBS' Supergirl. Same thing happened to us when Dean Cain and Helen Slater were announced. Ha, that'll teach us to try and get a work out in during SDCC. Here's what Laura said to EW:
Hopefully I get to be a part of it at some point. Which is looking good, Maybe. Hopefully, I get to meet her,” Vandervoort said of Benoist.
Vandervoort has been very publicly supportive of Melissa Benoist taking the lead role of Supergirl. Laura has even tweeted the new Kara Zor-El words of encouragement.
EDIT: Comic Con is so loud and crazy and people are put on the spot all over the place. So Laura may have misspoke about her level of involvement in the Supergirl show. Laura would love to have a cameo on the show, but she isn't in 'talks' for it. Laura quickly tweeted this out after the EW article posted:
