Hello fellow Supergirl fans! Sadly still there is no promotional video out yet for Supergirl's second season but there have been a few minor updates we'd like to tell you about. We have been traveling a lot this week so we appreciate everyone's patience with us. Now on to the news:
In an interview with TVLine.com, Andrew Kriesberg dropped a tidbit that acted like a little curveball to us. He stated:
Winn is actually going to get fired and go work for the DEO, which will be really exciting.
We knew from our interviews at SDCC that Winn would be going to work for the D.E.O. but we didn't know he was going to get fired! Winn doesn't seem like the kind of person that would let himself get fired but splitting your time between helping Kara, hacking aliens and doing I.T. work at Catco, there could be some job performance issues.
Next its been announced today that Supergirl will get a new mini-series comic book in the DC Universe.
SUPERGIRL: BEING SUPER’ MINISERIES
A Coming-of-Age Story for the Girl of Steel From Caldecott Honor Winner Mariko Tamaki and Acclaimed Artist Joëlle Jones
DC Entertainment announces a brand-new miniseries with an invigorating twist on the Supergirl we know and love! The Girl of Steel returns in a story not only about being super, but also the trials and tribulations of being 16. A coming-of-age story with superhero flair, SUPERGIRL: BEING SUPER comes from the creative minds of Caldecott Honor and Eisner Award winning young adult author Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer) and superstar artist Joëlle Jones (Lady Killer).
I've had so much fun working on this project with DC and Joëlle,” says Tamaki. “Clearly, I'm a writer with a devoted interest in adolescence, so it’s been a thrill having the opportunity to explore the alien side of 16.
The mini-series is going to be 48 pages and schedule to come out in December. Check out some preview images below:
Finally, our favorite director and season 1 producer Larry Teng is returning to direct episode six of season 2! Here's hoping he'll be doing his usual Larry Teng thing and give us some great behind the scenes shots as well as his magic behind the camera!
