Stink? 2 New Lumberjack Videos

Well we have to say this is a first for us. No one in the office can honestly say they've ever met a man named "Stink". But that is exactly who has auditioned for the role of the Lumberjack this time, Stink Fisher. It's pretty clear from the character description and casting call that they are looking for someone rugged:

Kara Danvers aka Zor-El will have her work cut out for her from the get-go, seeing as her adversary in the series pilot will be the DC Comics baddie Lumberjack. To that end, the CBS freshman is seeking a hulk akin to “Rory McCann, the 6-foot-6 actor from Game of Thrones” to play this “big, burly monster of a man, who has battled Kara’s cousin” — that’d be you-know-who — “in the past” and shows up to ascertain her level of power, on behalf of an unseen superior.

I suppose a character description like that will bring out all sorts of people. Speaking of hulk size men, the other audtion video found reveals a little more for us. First, his name is Keil Zepernick, he's 6'10" and weighs 285 lbs. Football linesmen are smaller than that! What his audition does show, however, is a few pauses we haven't seen before.

Possible SPOILERS ahead: Now you might not think that pauses amount to much but Zepernick is reacting to punches thrown by Kara. Because these scripts are never shared due to NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreements) we don't get to see them. But when an actor acts out the actions on the page, we learn a little more. So its clear there is a fight between these two and Kara doesn't wait around to start knocking the alien with three hearts around!

Interesting two new videos. Not much in plot development but its good to see who is trying out for these rolls.  What do you think? Are either of these men right for the role of The Lumberjack?  Comment below or try our our new chat
