San Diego Comic Con is happening as we write this. Many lucky fans call this the Mecca of comic book fandom and we are not going to disagree. The most important note of the night, however, was preview night for some of WBTV's new shows. Of course this included, Supergirl. So, how did the fans react to the new pilot... with a roar of excitement! Just at the first commercial break, fans broke into a frenzy of applause. "This show is really going to go the distance" was overheard. We took to twitter to see what kind of reactions were put out to the world and we weren't disappointed:
Doubters, worriers, and nay-sayers rest your troubled voices, Supergirl did exactly what we hoped it would do. It left future fans in awe of Melissa and a true Supergirl on the TV Screen.
Its late, but we are just so excited! Supergirl continues to dazzle folks of all ages, genders and economic backgrounds. The Superman/Supergirl story has always been one of hope of perseverance over adversity and its clear the country is ready for a bright and powerful story to bring us out of the daily discomforts we all experience. Once a week on CBS we are going to get to see a girl/woman, who will literally inspire us to do more, be better, and triumph over the trivial things in life. We can't wait!
