Initial reports had Supergirl coming in at a 1.8 in the 18-49 demographics! While those are huge numbers on par with week 2, The final live + sameday ratings are in and have adjusted up to 1.9 in the demo! Supergirl is really kicking butt in 2016. It is expected that the ratings will soften again when more competition from heavier shows starts up again. That said, what is being shown here is that fans are flocking to Supergirl, and while live may dip, L+3 and L+7 ratings are constant and good! Our friends at Supergirl TV Talk even suggested that there might have been a lot of bindging over the holiday break. This makes sense to us! More fans having time to catch up on the show means more new live viewers! The ratings boom wasn't lost on the cast either, Mehcad Brooks even thanks the fans via twitter:
