Production Weekly's Issue 932 is showing that the Supergirl show's production schedule has been pushed back to Early March. This means that the show remains in pre-production status. What does that mean in English? Well we can only speculate. Thoughts are that the recent leaked audition tapes of Benita Grimaldi's reading the part of Alex point to casting still underway. Rapaport Casting must not be happy with an actress to play Alex yet. In fact, we haven't heard anything about some of the other pivotal roles like Hank Henshaw or Cat Grant either. Being that its only February 5th, it sounds like casting has a few days under a month to cast the remaining characters. Also, if the lines we heard from the audition tapes for Alex are true, Hank will need to be in the opening episode. So there is no filming without him.
Potential Spoliers ahead: In other news ... well not really news. We will file this under rumor. We found another casting video. This time its actor Nic Azad, reading for the part of Winn Schott. Something about this strikes false. Most importantly is that if the dialogue is accurate, then Winn would learn about Kara's abilities almost right away. This is odd because the character description says the opposite right off the bat.
WINSLOW ‘WINN’ SCHOTT: This twenty-something tech whiz/Comic-Con stalwart toils for CatCo. as a programmer, unaware of his own toying potential. Unware of her secret, he carries a torch for Kara, whom he lives next door to.
But what can we say, we want to give as much information as we possibly can for you, the fans. So take this video with a grain of salt. Possible Spoilers may be ahead!
