People Magazine recently came out with a special edition covering the powerful women of Television. Not to be left out, our own Girl of Steel, Melissa Benoist was mentioned and a full page image was printed. The article stated:
[Referring to previously mentioned strong women on TV] they're tough on the inside. On the outside, sweethearts-much like the newest arrival to the kickass universe, Supergirl! The world knows her as Kara Danvers, the lovable, hardworking personal assistant to the CEO of a media conglomerate. But come crunch time, she'll be able to bend steel with her bare hands and, like her action-hero predecessors, make the world a better place.
