Here at Supergirl.tv we are all avid collectors of figures and statues. We fondly call it Plasti-crack as it seems we can never get enough of it. A statue or figure is the ultimate fan collector's item (at least in our opinion). So today, when TVInsider.com announced the debut of DC Collectables new Supergirl Melissa Benoist statue, we went wild! The statue stands a glorious 12.5 inches tall made of resin. The likeness to Melissa is pretty spot on as well, right down to her bright eyes and iconic smile. While we would buy 10 of them right now, they won't be available until May 2016. Statues are $130 a piece.
This is so cool. As a collector, our staff has every Supergirl statue ever produced, but this has to be our favorite and we haven't even seen it in real life! What do you think of the statue?
