By now, everyone has probably seen the behind the scenes photos of Superman on set filming the first episode. Many of you were excited to point out that it looked like Superman was fighting someone with a Kryptonite rock in the middle of their chest. Well today, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed, that is indeed Metallo. He is going to be played by Frederick Schmidt! Here's the description:
When international assassin John Corben is badly injured after taking on both Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), he is reborn by a shadow organization into the Kryptonite-powered supervillain Metallo.
This sounds pretty awesome to us! Anything with both Supergirl and Superman fighting along side eachother, INCREDIBLE!
