Drum-roll Please!  Cue the balloon drop and t-shirt cannons.  You, as fans, gave us the names of the 16 top actresses you'd like to see play Supergirl.  You, the fans, voted in 4 rounds of epic actress battles.  In fact, you the fans, voted over 1,305 times. And now, you the fans have crowned your fan-casting Kryptonian!  So if you the fans had control over who would play Supergirl, the actress (and our winner) would be:

WOW, honestly we didn't see that coming. We are sure a lot of this victory could be because of her official announcement right in the middle of the fan-casting challenge. But that aside, the fact that you, the fans, voted Melissa in as your Supergirl shows an early great success for the show.
