Entertainment Weekly has uncovered who will be the big villain is going to be in the four part crossover event this December. To know who it is, readers will have to look back to the 1980's when the DC mega-event "Invasion!" occured. For those that don't know what "Invasion!" is, it was a crisis like event when a race named Dominators and a coalition of other alien races came to eradicate Earth's meta-human population for fears of their power and the uncertainty of how these metas would use their power. Part of the coalition was Daxam, the race in which Mon-El is apart. Here's what Marc Guggenheim said:
This year, for our mega ‘Arrowverse’ crossover, we’re taking inspiration from a DC crossover from the late 1980s known as Invasion!, which featured an alien race called the Dominators, who’d previously vexed the Legion of Superheroes, We’re using cutting edge prosthetics and computer effects to achieve a feature film-quality look which is faithful to Invasion! artist Todd McFarlane’s interpretation of the characters.
