Blurred Lines Trailer

Supergirl's fight against Ma'alefa'ak is growing. The team has the advantage it seems for now but Ma'alefa'ak is making big strides. His shape-shifting abilities seem to be top notch and the team is just not prepared for someone that takes the form of a fly on the wall! If that wasn't enough, Lena seems to have taken over Eve and Andrea's motives still remain in the dark even if Kara is starting to stand up to her. Next week, a brand new villain is going to debut and the consequences look deadly! Check it out in the trailer below:

Hmm...thinking it could be budget or something at Warners that allows only the trailer to be seen or set for web distribution.

I'm sick of that Midnight promo. She's had more screentime with the promo repeats than she did in the episode!

Totally ready for tonight's ep. Bring it!

Well other than NFL football, Shark Tank, Fox's animation block and NCIS: LA, Supergirl will not have game 7 of the ALCS to worry about...Kelly, your city's Astros saw to that (much to my chagrin!). Speaking of NFL, Kel, your Cowboys take on the Eagles in said Sunday night game.

That said I am intrigued by the mystery element and the somewhat creep-out factor from the spider given it's 11 days to Halloween.

So about the actual episode....

I thought James would be arrested if he became Guardian again...yet he is in all these episodes. So another forgotten plot?

Looks like it.

Alas, it is nothing I haven't grown to expect from this award winning writers room. They routinely draw fantastic characters, but continuity and internal consistency too often elude their grasp.

Maybe they know better than to arrest a future senator...?

Now back to episode business. The preview looks good. A classic powered foe for our girl this week that has a bit more backstory or plot or her than the one we most recently saw.

C'mon, let's all take the ratings / new suit talk to the Forums because there are already topics on these subjects.

Please try to keep the Front News Page for the topics at hand.

Tend to agree, since most of the commentary of the former is of the usual knee-jerk, paranoid fanboy variety, which has nothing to do with Live ratings stats. FYI, The CW always plays a long game with their programming, not a weekly freakout over relatively unrelated minutia. Fall TV season usually has a lot of new programming choices that get sampled, which normally thin out by mid-season.

As for next week's episode trailer, looks rather creepy. Spider-senses are tingling. :)

Agreed.......bring on the next episode.

As Admin has said time and again, if there are significant problems with the show that we should be aware of, they will let us all know in good time. ;-)

[quote name="starlord"]Did you not even look at my post and see the reason why it was down. Every tv show was down. All your claims are baseless.

My claims are not baseless, perhaps you should have read my post. Other shows maybe down, but not as bad as 25% from week 1 to 2. If you had been reading other boards and sites like I have, you would have seen this is a very unpopular decision, and this shows drop was predictable. You can believe what you want, I am fine either way. But I did not just think this up, I have been paying attention to several sources, and I predicted this weeks ago.

I hope the show bounces back as much as anyone’s. I will watch regardless of what she wears. I believe this was a mistake.

I am not claiming the sky is falling, and have always been complimentary to you, and the cast of the show. I said it was a bad decision to change the costume, and the ratings would take a hit. Last week was the firs time there were fewer than 1 million viewers, and it was a 25% drop from the week before, largest 1 week drop within a season since it began. Numbers and logic don’t Lie. This was predictable, I hope the numbers go back up this week. It looks like a really cool villain.
It’s not a good idea to say fact “A” was the cause of fact “B” without evidence. That’s the definition of a leap of logic in order to make things fit our opinions. It’s a very human thing to to when we have strong feelings about something. IMO when it comes to statements about the show ending it’s better to go with provable facts over feelings.

I said it was a bad idea, and would cause a ratings drop. Go to comic book sites, or Facebook pages where they poll about the 2 suits, it is overwhelmingly in favor of the classic look. Believe me or don’t, costume change was a bad idea. They should look into ways they can keep her warm, but in the skirt.
